Researching has always been a weakness of mine, but this English 101 class has helped me to the maximum! Although my fears still linger about writing, they are no longer as troublesome and crippling. I have enjoyed learning new techniques and skills in writing anf especially being able to revise my paper for the first time in my life!
My thanksgiving was very good! I ate a lot and had time with all of my family. I am thankful for all of the people and things in my life. I will continue to pray for the families of all those killed in car accidents this weekend.
Paper #2. Topic: “banned books”
Thesis: While we all like to think that the world of novels is steadily thriving off it’s readers, the unruly truth is that novels are in fact being punished, whipped , and banished by people who do not like what they read.
Paper #3. topic: significant event.
Thesis: This brisk October day marked one of the worst, most memorable days of my life because it was now obvious that the end of an amazing life was approaching at a rate that I did not expect.
My most favorite season is fall! I love all of the colors that fill the trees and the ground. I also love the breeze during this time of year. 
Although the days dont seem nearly as long as before, I look forward to the night. The stars seem brighter or something. It is also nice outside. Not freezing but not hot, just right! This time of year is just a wonderful way to close the final months of 2009.
Halloween was somewhat uneventful for me. There was a full moon that night and the strange occurances seemed to correspond with that!! I wont go into detail but my life is crazy! We had ZERO trick or treat-ers as always. Thats a downfall of living in the boonies 
but other than that it was good..
I fear many things in life, but most of all I fear mounted animal heads. The first paper I wrote happened to be about deer heads and how they frighten me, and im definitely sticking to the story. I do not enjoy seeing heads of any animals, mammals, on the wall. A disturbing mental image appears in my mind. If the animals had homes like us, would our heads be hanging from the wall!? Would we have glass eyes, whose glare seems to follow whoever is in the room? It’s creepy and just wrong. I hope to one day get past this fear, but I do not see that happening anytime soon.
If I could contain any super power, I would want to be able to fly on a broom. I always admired that about the witches! It is more stylish than just flying through the air with a boring cape! The broom would give me something to hold on to when I hit turbulence, while allowing me to sweep through the sky without a sound. I would use this power to gain the media’s attention and maybe even sign to be a part of a reality show!
My fall break was nothing but work for me! No play. I worked two double shifts at jw’s and then went home and crashed!!! Not much of a fal break! And it wasnt nearly long enough to classify as a “break”. :/
I had a diffucult time conjuring up one of the funniest things to happen in my life, but I did come up with a very fond memory! My grandfather and I were covering the pool for the winter season and it had taken us about an hour to unfold the cover, clean it, and begin the draining process of covering the pool efficiently. He told me to pull from the right and walk foward while the did the same thing on the left side, and somehow I missed my step on the concrete and planted my foot on the rim of the pool. With this, I fell in the pool on top of the cover with my clothes on. As i emerged from the water I was in shock of what had just happened. I looked up to see my grandfather laughing with tears pouring down his face. We both took nearly 5 minutes to recooperate from this event. It was one of my most fond memories!
By going to http://bcs.bedfordstmartins.com/easywriter3e/20errors/2.asp, I found a list of 20 most common errors in wrtiting. This list was somewhat surprising in that I do not think of half of those things when writing a paper. I learned that Vague pronoun reference was #2 on this list and I began to realize that often do that in my writing. I also learned that lack of agreement between pronouns and atecendents is a problem among writers. For example it states: ”Each of the puppies thrived in their new home.” The word “their” should be the “it’s”. I would have said the sentence it the first form personally, but I found out i was wrong!! Through reading this list, I found out several things to look for when writing a paper that I would not have even known about otherwise!
